This hands-on workshop introduces you to the full black and white film developing process, from exposed roll to finished contact print. Working in a shared darkroom environment, you’ll develop your own film under close guidance, gaining confidence, understanding, and a deeper connection to analogue photography.
This is a practical, tactile session designed for people who want to slow down and experience photography at its most physical and intentional.
What You’ll Do
Arrive with one roll of black and white film already shot
Learn how to prepare your film for development
Develop your own roll of film in the darkroom, step by step, under instruction
Break for lunch while your negatives dry
Return to learn how to create a contact sheet
Make a contact print from your own negatives to take away
