Photo Walk - Shoot a Roll of Film | 18th April 10.30am - 2pm
18th April 10.30am - 2pm
Curious about shooting film but not sure where to start? This practical, hands-on workshop is designed to give you a clear and confident introduction to 35mm photography.
We’ll walk through how exposure works on film, how to use your camera’s built-in meter, and why bright scenes and dark scenes can trick it. You’ll learn how film handles highlights and shadows differently from digital, what it means to work with a fixed ISO, and how black & white and colour negative film each respond to light.
Most importantly, you’ll shoot with intention. Through a guided exercise, you’ll complete a roll built around a single idea — learning to slow down, think before pressing the shutter, and make deliberate creative decisions.
No prior film experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
